Cornwall is without a doubt one of the best walking locations in Britain.
Its numerous footpaths, bridleways, byways and green lanes can take you through a wide range of landscapes, from sandy beaches and rocky coves to rugged heathland.
Below are some of our favourite walks; we hope you enjoy them as much as we do. We have also noted good places to sit and recharge your batteries.
An invigorating walk along the wild and windswept cliffs between the romantic, rocky shoreline and the stone-walled patchwork fields of a traditional landscape, which has been farmed in this way for
5000 years. Mine chimneys and engine houses are dotted among the granite outcrops, and the coastal heathland is home to many rare species of plants, birds and animals.”
A challenging 4/5 hours walk passing by the Tinners Arms along the way
This route will guide you along the tops of the beaches around part of St Ives bay. The scenery is incredible
There are two golf courses within easy reach of St Ives, but choice of over 35 throughout Cornwall.
